Dramatic steps cutting down through the chalk cliffs of Peacehaven

Constructed soon after the first world war, Bastion Steps were built to give Peacehaven residents ready access to the beach. The steps lead straight from the cliff edge and cut down through the white chalk cliff face, coming to rest on the wide expanse of concrete promenade. A dramatic location for filming and photography.
