AVONCROFT MUSEUM
700 years of Midlands heritage
Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings is an award-winning museum spanning 700 years of Midlands’ heritage. All of our exhibits have been rescued from demolition or dereliction and rebuilt in a beautiful corner of the Worcestershire countryside. Avoncroft is England’s first open-air museum and the buildings range from a medieval town house to a fully furnished 1940s prefab. Commercial buildings such as the 19th century windmill, nailer’s forge and chain shop, all of which are still in use today, provide fascinating insights into the region’s industrial past. The Museum is also home to the National Telephone Kiosk Collection, a traditional cider and perry orchard and a wildflower meadow. This is a fantastic and versatile location for filming and photography.
All filming and photoshoot enquiries are handled by FAME Pro.
